Timber tones of polished Tasmanian Oak floorboards, beamed ceilings, magnificent Celery Top Pine posts, and a Tasmanian Oak central staircase take their cue from the bushland environs while the kitchen’s stainless steel surfaces complement its modern efficiency. The Lodge has 240 volt off grid power, supplied by a 3.5kw solar system supported by 2 large banks of batteries and a 6kw generator. The nearby dam is home to a variety of frogs and ducks, and serves the dual purpose of supplying the copper sprinkler system to the Lodge for fire protection. So important in rural locations.

Each of the three engaging, 12 volt solar powered and wood heated chalets has its own stellar balcony view, adding to the sense of connection to bushland where high biodiversity values are protected by a conservation covenant. Further complemented by water tanks, secure storage and garaging, 

Lumera also offers options for additional development, (STCA) if so desired, within easy reach, yet far removed from St Marys township. Lumera is an easy 90 minute drive from Launceston Airport.
